And yes this is the Oakley exclusive colorway. I’ve worked with Oakley and now I have two sport RX exclusives in the flight deck family.
I also do the xl with the prism jade lens. This is the XM with the sapphire lens what makes this goggle so great is it’s unbelievably comfortable and it has this huge shield, a rimless design and you just get amazing peripheral vision.
So if you’re about a medium-sized person I’d get the XM which stands for extra medium. I know it’s kind of funny and if you’re a big guy like me or you just have a big head or you really like oversized goggles get the xl size and that one has prism jade.
When we recommend the flight deck the most is for the type of person who does not want to interchange lenses some people just want a simple setup.
They don’t want two sets of lenses no matter how easy they are to interchange. By the way, you can interchange flight deck lenses; they don’t come with a spare lens.
And they’re not the easiest to interchange. so if you’re the type of person who does not want to interchange and you just want one lens that prism sapphire or that jade with
the prism technology works unbelievably well in so many conditions overcast to sunny one lens gets you through most everything. So that’s the flight deck

But real quick before that I just want to tell everybody about these amazing prescription inserts. If you do need prescription glasses consider getting a prescription insert from SportyHead it’s really easy to use these fit inside the goggle and it’s much easier and much better than trying to wear your glasses inside of goggles.
all right
So the Anon m4 was a sport RX award winner in 2019 for best goggles and this thing is just unbelievable such a workhorse, such high quality durable just tough goggles.
They take a lick in and keep on ticking. You can get them either with a toric lens or a cylindrical lens.
You automatically get two lenses. Perceive lenses that’s Anon’s new lens technology which is phenomenal and gives you really high contrast really, a good color boost and it automatically comes with two sets of lenses.
They’re that easy to interchange. they use a magnetic quick-change system and it just snaps in there and it stays in really really well. Another thing I really like about these personally.
Because of my big nose, they have this deep pocket. So if you do have a big nose they don’t put a lot of pressure or kind of make you go nasally or anything like that
They’re super comfortable. And if you don’t have a big nose there’s plenty of foam. There you’re still going to get full coverage, and full contact points it’s just really nice if you do have a bigger nose.
That deep pocket is really really awesome and I would say this one is about a large to extra large fit so it’s a little bit bigger.
that’s the anon m4 I love it

LENS MATERIALS OFFERED ON ALL SMITH GOGGLES
CARBONIC-X LENSES Smith’s Carbonic-x outer lens material is individually molded to offer optimum scratch and impact resistance. The Carbonic-x material meets class 1 optical standards. There is simply no better lens. | FOG-X The fog-x lens employs a hydrophilic, micro-etched surface to absorb moisture and disperse it over a wide surface area to prevent fogging. Because it is physically carved into the lens, it can’t be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings. | HYDROPHOBIC LENS COATING A durable coating bonded to all mirrored lenses that repel moisture, grease, and grime. A barrier between your lenses and the world. Water will bead up and disperse without streaking. Smudges from fingerprints are wiped clean easily. |

The squad itself has been a very popular goggle and now Smith has made it easier to interchange with a magnetic interchangeable lens system. This one is cylindrical so you get that kind of cool retro look.
But they’re using a really high-quality cylindrical lens that has very very little distortion. It’s going to be basically the same optics as a spherical lens and these also have chroma-pop lens technology.
Chromapop really gives you amazing contrast. It kind of changes the world. It’s amazing. and they have a great anti-fog here.
This is about a medium fit and that is the Smith Squad Mag

Anon wm3 is one of the best snowboard goggles. We are so stoked and so thankful to Anon for making more women’s specific goggles. This one is really really cool. First of all, it comes in some amazing colorways. This is cylindrical, it is a women’s specific frame so it’s going to fit the contours of a woman’s face better.
They’re not just smaller and they’re not just pink they’re. Actually designed for women it’s amazing.
They still have magnetic technology. So it’s super easy to interchange the lenses and you do get a second set of lenses with them.
They do have the perceived lens technology Which has amazing contrast. And they are MFI compatible I’m almost sure at SportyHead. Here we only carry them with the MFI so the MFI is this face shield.
This season I think more than any other season having an easy-to-take off-and-on face shield is going to be amazing. so this actually just
magnetically attaches keeps you warm, keeps all the germs away, keeps it really cool and you just kind of can really easily open it and close it as need be.
So, that’s the MFI technology also available with that m4 that we talked about earlier.
we got the

The next one is a toric lens shape so torque means it’s almost cylindrical. so it’s kind of not totally flat this way but just has a little bit of curvature.
And then it has that really kind of cool 80s look. Again very comfortable. I love this colorway with the eagle and the burgundy. This one’s fully rimless so you get a really good peripheral view.
It has Luma lens technology. That’s Dragon’s lens technology for extra contrast. It does come with an extra set of lenses. Like I said before all of these are super high-quality goggles so you’re going to get the triple foam.
The last layer is really moisture-wicking really comfortable and this one’s an extra large fit. One thing I do really like about dragons and this PXV is the armor technology on top.
So, instead of the foam being exposed you get this little bit of perforated vented plastic which keeps the foam on the inside dry on snowy powdery wet days.
free that’s the PXV from dragon

This one is a medium fit. It’s got a spherical lens. It does come with two sets of lenses and it has this magnetic rail lock lens system, an interchangeable system.
It kind of slides in and out with the use of magnets. Kind of a cool little dual-protection thing.
Another thing that people like about Zeal is that you can get polarized and or photochromic lenses. Not a lot of brands offer those features. So something to think about if you are looking for a feature like that.
And this one also has a really strong anti-fog coating and a great hydrophobic coating so that when the lenses get wet they’re a little bit easier to clean and they stay clean longer.
That’s the zeal portal all right last but not least is the

Believe me, this one is one of the best snowboard goggles you can get. This thing has been flying off the shelves.
Here this year at SportyHead already early in the season and I think it has a lot to do with this expansive view.
So, basically, the 4d part means the lens kind of continues and curves down, it’s super rad it’s almost like an infinity pool if you want to think about it that way.
It gives you really cool optics because you can see a little bit more but also it looks really cool when people are looking at you. the aesthetics of these goggles really cool, really kind of new age, kind of different and it does have a magnetic lens change system.
And you do get two sets of lenses with the purchase of these goggles. And they’re both going to be chroma pop. Chromapop is an amazing lens technology from Smith that just gives you amazing contrast in optics.
I keep talking about all these new lens technologies from the brands. I guess they’re not that new anymore. They’ve been out for a handful of seasons. But if you’re rocking really old goggles without the prisms and the chroma pop and the perceives of the world.
The strap opens up this way so you don’t have to like to pull it down; you can clip it back there. Some people like that.
you’re really missing out on amazing optics. This is about a medium fit and another cool thing besides the triple foam and all the really high-quality technical things is on the Smith goggles.
that’s the Smith 4d mag
Which one’s your favorite let us know in the comments. If you agree or disagree with this best snowboard goggles article tell me your opinion.
Don’t forget we can do all of them in prescription with our amazing handy dandy insert.
all right well that was the best snowboard goggles of the 2022-2023 season here from SportyHead.
