Wilson Softball Gloves |Review & Buying Guide|

Hey everybody how’s it going? It’s Cassidy, I am a professional softball player and, in this blog, we are going to talk about Wilson Softball Gloves.

Wilson A2000 Fastpitch H12 12″ Infield Softball Gloves Series

I am talking about Wilson gloves from 2022 and right here I have the H12. The H12 will be a 12-inch glove and it will feature that eye whip to it.

Now, this glove is going to be for Fastpitch softball. Looks very similar to 1786 this year from the boy’s side of things. We’ve seen obviously that trend where kind of the basement softball gloves is starting to look very similar.

We saw a couple of years ago it was a lot of white when it came to the girl’s side in softball. We’re seeing some boys even like a little bit of white on their glove and stuff like that.

Wilson A2000 H12 12" Fastpitch Softball Glove

It was funny because the boys would always come in and they would always be drawn to the girl’s club and then obviously you’re starting to see that kind of where the girl’s gloves are starting to look obviously more kind of like those.

The same colorway was in 1786. As I said Wilson going to be great at having two options they have for.

For example, the real loud-in-your-face option and they have a little bit on that quieter reserve side of things. Whereas if the person doesn’t want to get that loud glove they could just go with that kind of standard.

Wilson A2000 which is this you’re going to have a 12-inch one. That’s going to be bright and you know flamingo colors on it.

All that stuff is fine. Some people like that and then you’re going to have another one which is going to be the quiet reserve type of glove.

Which is going to be blonde and it’s going to have that saddle tan to it. It’s going to have a red-and-white accent to it.

Which is going to look really cool and play really well. This one is great for any infield position second short or third. We could get away playing with this because of that eye wet.

Because of the versatility of the 12-inch, this one will have the drawstring closure to It to obviously close it a little bit easier. You also have that flat binding to it so you’ll see the flat binding on this one pulls out all the stops.

When it comes to the A2000 the pro stock leather will last a lifetime as long as that proper care is met.

A lady can always count on an A2000 glove having top-quality leather. This specific A2000 will have the Pro Stock Leather that Wilson has been using for many years.

This will provide quality material on the catching surface and shell backing that will allow the glove to last for many seasons and hold its shape as long as it is cared for properly.

In addition to the glove’s shell, the leather material that makes up the inner hand lining will be something to write home about. That hand lining will feature the Pro Lux leather that will be butter-soft and it will increasingly mold to a player’s hand every time they slip on the glove.
Along with top-quality leather, you can also expect A2000s to provide the Dual Welting feature that can be seen on the backing of the fingers of the glove.

Those two lines that run vertically on the finger backings also exist within the finger stalls of the inner hand lining of the glove. This Dual Welting works alongside the Pro Stock leather to make sure the fingers display a quintessential “glove shape” throughout the glove’s entire life.
This 12″ length of fastpitch softball glove should be able to nab anything you layout out on the infield.

And since the softball has such a large circumference, there is a little-to-no shot that you’ll lose the ball in the webbing of the glove. Because of that, feel free to roll out to 2B, SS, or 3B with this glove, and be prepared to dominate!

Wilson Flash Softball Gloves Series Overview

I’m talking about Wilson’s brand-new Flash series. So, the flash service has been in the line for a couple of years. it was used to be paying it used to be really girl-looking.

Now it’s going to be that purple and gray look to it. That leather shell, leather laces, and we’ll even have this kind of mesh back to it which is nice.

Wilson Flash Series Glove Overview

Now it’s going to be for the ages of eight- to twelve-year-old girls now you’re going to have different sizes.

Going to be the eleven definitely more for that eight-year-old girl. Then obviously you know she’s using that smaller ball that 11-inch ball she gets away using this glove right here available in that right-hand left-hand throw

Next, you’re going to have the 11 and a half which obviously again all other shells to it same type of design.

These are really easy to close and this is again would be that 8- to 12-year-old girl and then last but sorry oddly sure have the 12 inches the bigger one possibly this one would be for the girl.

It’s making a transition from that 12-inch obviously to that 11 to the 12-inch ball she might use this 12-inch glove.

A nice glove of the elbow and right hand and left-hand throw and these are going to break in really nice, really naturally, and really easy to close and practically.

WILSON 2022 Flash Fastpitch Softball Glove Series

Wilson A550 Siren Fastpitch Softball Gloves Series

Here I am talking about Wilson softball gloves for 2022 and right here of the A550 the siren series for softball.

So, this is definitely always going to be a popular series definitely built for a girl maybe in the age range of 11 to 12.

We do really well. Specifically with this one which will be the 12-inch one. It is definitely the go-to for a girl that is moving from that 11-inch ball to the 12-inch ball.

Wilson A550 Siren Fastpitch softball gloves Series

This one is definitely to go to the 12-inch one. As you can see nice glove nice looking glove with that kind of closed web.

It will be available in the right-hand and left-hand throws. It does come with a new feature. this year which will be the kind of quick easy wrist release.

So, it’s a little bit easier to get your hand in and out of the glove which maybe they saw kind of the Velcro or some of the older style being a little bit of an issue.

This definitely is a soft leather glove so you can feel it definitely is one. I mean there’s not much braking that will be needed or necessary on these A550 siren gloves.

That’s obviously just kind of being more honest than anything you can see it closes pretty easily. This one will be the 11 and a half and obviously features the web design great for a younger girl playing kind of all over.

If you are let’s say still using that 11-inch ball but you want to get kind of an upgraded glove the 11 halves will do the trick and a 12-inch ball definitely still fits as well.

Last but certainly not least you will have the v125 web. Like it will be that A2000 style it just wobbles with the A500 siren. Which is a softer leather, easier to break in, and obviously, price dictates that when you see the price of this versus some of the A2000s.

You know what you’re in a store with the A2000 from a break-in standpoint. From the standpoint of the A550, you know not that much breaking will go into these gloves.

each the fundamentals with the Wilson 12″ A550 Siren Fastpitch Glove. The Quick Fit elastic wrist assures a personal fit and is ideal for ages 7 and under, and the modified X2 Web design allows you to scoop up grounders.

Wilson A1000 Fastpitch Series 12″ Infield Softball Gloves 2022

Now I am talking about Wilson Wallace for 2022 and right here I have the 12 inches. This one will be the A1000 and this one will feature that H-web to it.

This one is going to be very similar to Sierra Romero. Her pro stock glove is in the A2000 side of things and that’s where the A1000. A2000 is going to be a little bit different.

You’re talking about the A2000 will be that pro stock leather. The A1000 will be that full leather glove but will have that pro pattern to it.

Fastpitch Series Wilson A1000 softball gloves

So, you’re getting the same type of pattern that Sierra Romero wears. Just a glove that’s going to be a little bit lighter in weight but that breaks in a little bit easier and I love that.

Ultimately, you’re talking about first, sixth, seventh, and eighth. Graders will set you up for success for the next couple of years.

You know that three to four years as long as the proper care is met with it. We like the way this glove looks. We saw the A1000 have some success last year with it.

It kind of went away for a couple of years and then boom it came back last year in April. Sold out mid-April went to go reorder it they weren’t even there.

So, we are happy that the full A1000 lineup will be in line for the 2022 season. We were excited about it they look good. White looks good on the glove. Black looks good with it but something about gold I said that anytime there’s a gold review I get memorized.
